Q: How long will I wait before I receive my photos?

A: You can expect to wait 7-14 working days from the day of the shoot. If you require prints and/or photobooks - 14-21 working days, as I currently outsource these extras.

Q: What do I wear?

A: You need to be comfortable in what you wear - comfort is very important as your discomfort will show in the images. Wear complimenting colors, for example green and yellow go really well together. And then ask yourself, do I feel good in this?

Also think about where these photos may hang in your home, and try to complement the space with specific colors.

Please also avoid clothes with branding.

Q: Will you photoshop me?

A: There will be some retouching where needed but there won’t be any alterations done to make you thinner, younger etc. At the end of the day I am here to capture your true self. Should you have a pimple or a bruise, I will remove those as they are temporary, I may soften scars and wrinkles but I don’t remove them.

Q: Am I too large or too old for a boudoir shoot?

A: Absolutely not! You are gorgeous! The word Boudoir is French for a woman’s dressing room, bedroom or private sitting room. Every woman can have a boudoir shoot done, it is all about the lighting, angles and capturing your sensual side (which every woman has).

Q: How do I prepare for a boudoir shoot?

A: This is a great question! There are many things to keep in mind when booking a boudoir session.

  • If you are planning on going for a facial - do it at least 2 days before the shoot in case of a break out.

  • Don’t get waxed on the day, you don’t want any visible swelling or rash, so get waxed a few days before.

  • Make sure you have a nice fresh mani / pedi for the day.

  • It is important to feel relaxed before the session, listen to some feel good music, do a 5 min vigorous workout to get the blood pumping, have a glass of wine (white wine & champagne will be available at the studio) red wine may stain your teeth.

  • Think about what you and/or your partner find sexy, be a little adventurous with your outfit but make sure you are comfortable and feeling sexy.

Q: I don’t want my boudoir pictures all over social media, will they be kept private?

A: Yes! Boudoirs are different from every other photoshoot. These are for yours and your partner's eyes only. Unless you have given me permission to use your images for portfolio purposes - your images are kept private.

Q: May I bring a friend / relative or child with me on the day of the shoot?

A: Yes you may. Please just note that the studio has large heavy lights and equipment that get hot and can be dangerous to an unsupervised child. Also please note that pets are not permitted unless a shoot has been booked with your pet - and they would need to be on a leash.

Q: What Covid-19 precautions do you have in place?

A: Masks will be worn by myself, MUA and assistants. There is sanitizer available for clients and everything is sanitized before and after each session. We also sanitize throughout the session.

There will  be coffee / tea available at the studio the time of your session
